Weddings can be very expensive - that's why we don't charge a premium when you buy wedding cupcakes from The Anticipation.

The Anticipation can offer you some lovely little extras, like the pretty cupcake wrappers as seen in the photographs. These are available to purchase - or we can show you how to make them yourself as a great cost effective alternative which looks just as beautiful.

Cake stands make the cup cake display look extra-special - you can hire a perspex cupcake stand from The Anticipation or we can make and customise one for you.

In addition to wedding cupcakes, The Anticipation can supply the traditional top of the cake in either sponge or Spice. Please note that we do not do tiered wedding cakes. Once your date is booked it is your date alone - we will deliver the cakes to your wedding venue and assemble the cakes personally.

Pricing and Delivery

Wedding Cupcakes	£2.00 - £2.50 each
6" Top Tier Cake* - fondant iced sponge	£15.00 each
6" Top Tier Cake* - marzipan & fondant iced spice	£22.00 each
Cake Stand Hire	£10.00, plus returnable deposit of £75.00

*The top of the cake can be decorated with sugar flowers, the cost is dependant on your requirement or you can arrange for your florist to supply a fresh flower arrangement.

The Anticipation require 3 months notice for wedding cake orders. A 25% deposit is required with the order and the balance is due three weeks before the wedding.

Wedding cupcakes can be delivered within a 20 mile radius of Durham City, including Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, Darlington, Washington and across County Durham. Wedding venues over 20 miles from Durham are subject to a small delivery charge. If you would like deliveries of cupcakes further afield please please call The Anticipation for costs.
